This award is presented to a district or campus administrator who recognizes the importance of technology in the teaching and learning process and actively promotes the use of technology on the campus or throughout the district.

The TCEA Administrator of the Year award is open to all public, private, and parochial administrators with the exclusion of technology administrators and superintendents. The primary responsibility of the applicant must be acting as a principal, assistant principal, or district administrator. Nominees must be members of TCEA. (Non-members may submit membership and dues at the time of entry.) Previous nominees are eligible and encouraged to enter. 
Active TCEA board members, staff, or family are not eligible to receive this award.
