TCEA’s Annual Educator Awards recognize excellence in the integration of technology in schools. We present these awards, also known as Golden Apples, to some of the most innovative and engaging educators. In addition to the honor of recognition, award finalists each receive a cash prize of $500, with recipients receiving a cash prize of $1,000. All finalists and recipients also receive a plaque to commemorate the award.

We present the awards during TCEA’s Annual Convention & Exposition in February.

Eligibility & Instructions: These awards are open to all public, private, and parochial educators. All nominees must be members of TCEA except those applying for School Board of the Year and Lifetime Achievement. (Non-members may submit membership and dues at the time of entry). Previous nominees are eligible and encouraged to enter. Active TCEA board members, staff, or family are not eligible to receive these awards.

Nominations will be accepted beginning Tuesday, September 1, 2020, and will remain open through Saturday, October 31, 2020.
